Hi,
It was a pleasure seeing your St Petersburg photographs, as I have just recently returned from visiting your lovely city with my four sons. While we are all from the States, my father and all my ancestors are from Russia, primarily St Petersburg, and it was both moving and rewarding to explore the city. We were able to find the former home of my Great Grandfather, AS Suvorin, as well as his theatre (presently The Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theatre) and his burial site in one of the cemeteries of the A Nevsky Lavra.
Thank you for your postings.
Bob Souvorin (spelling was changed by US Immigration when my Grandmother and her sons fled to the US after the revolution.
